About the subscription

With your subscription, an assigned scout will proudly place a 3x5 fade-resistant nylon flag on 10 ft poles on each of the patriotic holidays of Memorial Day, Flag Week, Fourth of July, Patriot's Day, and Veteran's day.

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to grow into a strong community leader through the values of Scouting - regardless of their family’s income. This fundraiser makes that possible. By subscribing, you help Scouts develop leadership, service, and outdoor skills while giving back to their communities.

80% of your subscription cost goes directly to the scout serving your area, helping fund their camping trips, supplies, equipment, merit badges, and other Scouting adventures. The remaining portion supports the troop with administrative expenses, group campouts and Scouting competitions.

2026 Subscriptions are now CLOSED - No new flags will be placed for 2026.

With over 450 flags going out each year, we close subscriptions in early May to give our scouts time to prepare routes and inventory before Memorial Day.

Get ahead for next year! 2027 annual subscriptions are available now: $62 for all 5 holidays. Price stays the same as long as you remain subscribed.

We collect only the personal information necessary to manage flag subscriptions, including:

• Name

• Phone number

• Email address

• Service address

How We Use Information
Personal information is used solely for the purpose of managing flag subscriptions and related communications, including:

• Sending subscription renewal information, confirmations, reminders, and updates

• Coordinating flag placement and pickup

• Contacting subscribers with information relevant to their route or payment

Information Sharing and Access

• We do not sell, share, or release personal information to any third parties outside of Troop 1513.

• The Troop Committee maintains access to the full subscriber list for administrative purposes only.

• Each scout assigned to a route receives only the subscriber information for their designated route to fulfill delivery and pickup responsibilities.

• Personal information is never shared between scouts or distributed beyond what is necessary for route management.

Data Protection

BSA Troop 1513 takes reasonable measures to ensure that personal information is stored securely and accessible only to authorized troop personnel and scouts responsible for their assigned routes.
