Support Our Scouts with a Flag Subscription!
We offer a flag subscription fundraiser to help fund our Scouts and troop, as well as teach scouts the value of leadership, responsibility and patriotism. Throughout the year, we proudly place 3x5 fade-resistant nylon flags on 10 ft poles in your front yard to celebrate five patriotic holidays.
80% of your subscription cost goes directly to the scout serving your area, helping fund their camping trips, supplies, equipment, merit badges, and other Scouting adventures. The remaining portion supports the troop with administrative expenses, group campouts and Scouting competitions.
We believe every young person should have the opportunity to grow into a strong community leader through the values of Scouting - regardless of their family’s income. This fundraiser makes that possible. By subscribing, you help Scouts develop leadership, service, and outdoor skills while giving back to their communities.
Flag Schedule:
Your flag will be placed 1-3 days before each holiday and picked up 1-3 days after. Our Scouts are involved in many extracurricular activities and school events, so please allow them time to put out and retrieve the flags. However, if your flag has not been displayed at least one day before the holiday, please drop us a note here, and we will check in with your Scout.
We celebrate with flags on these important days:
Memorial Day (May 25)
Flag Week (June 9-14) – Enjoy a whole week of flag display!
Independence Day (July 4)
Patriot Day (Sept 11)
Veterans Day (Nov 11)
1 subscription = 1 flag. Want more flags displayed in your yard? Simply add additional subscriptions to your cart! Keep in mind, they are large. For most yards, 2 flags look great!
Friendly Reminder: We’re unable to accept new subscriptions after May 1, 2026.
With over 450 flags going out each year, we need time to help our scouts get organized before Memorial Day—making sure everyone has what they need and all routes are ready to go. This helps us provide the best possible service to our amazing subscribers!

Scouts will place flags approximately 1 ft from the street curb and 1 ft left of the sidewalk. If you wish for a specific placement, please let us know by emailing us at Troop1513tx@gmail.com, or using the "Contact Us" feature of our website. Please make sure to include your address!

We collect only the personal information necessary to manage flag subscriptions, including:

How We Use Information
Personal information is used solely for the purpose of managing flag subscriptions and
related communications, including:
•Sending subscription renewal information, confirmations, reminders, and updates
•Coordinating flag placement and pickup
•Contacting subscribers with information relevant to their route or payment
Information Sharing and Access
•We do not sell, share, or release personal information to any third parties outside of Troop
1513.
•The Troop Committee maintains access to the full subscriber list for administrative
purposes only.
•Each scout assigned to a route receives only the subscriber information for their
designated route to fulfill delivery and pickup responsibilities.
•Personal information is never shared between scouts or distributed beyond what is
necessary for route management.
Data Protection
BSA Troop 1513 takes reasonable measures to ensure that personal information is stored
securely and accessible only to authorized troop personnel and scouts responsible for their
assigned routes.
